It's been more than 27 years since this tragic event happened and I still haven't heard an explanation of how a Missouri girl fell off of a roller coaster yet no one seemed to notice. It's a mystery that remains unsolved today.

It's not unusual to see a light dart across the sky that you can't explain. It's yet another when you see a strange object for nearly an hour and it gets close enough that it sets off a car alarm. That's exactly what a recent report claims happened during a close encounter in Missouri.

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City has a reputation as one of the safest amusement parks in America and that's well-deserved. However, there was a tragedy over 26 years ago when a girl was killed on a coaster there and almost no one noticed.

Kansas City's Worlds of Fun and their Viking Voyager log flume ride were featured in a sketch on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

In the next few days, Six-Flags in St. Louis and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City will be re-opening their doors and both Disneyland and Disney World will do like-wise next month.
