Travis Tritt’s Georgia home was threatened by fire Wednesday (July 29) afternoon. While property was destroyed, the singer and his family were not injured.
Country music is a very supportive genre, but that doesn't mean there aren't a few artists who just can't get along. Sometimes it's professional, sometimes it's personal. For country's most well-known feudsters, it was both.
Travis Tritt took to his Twitter account this weekend to express his opinion about a recent show opening for Brantley Gilbert. Tritt, Thomas Rhett and Clare Bowen all opened for Gilbert at the Blue Ridge Music Festival in Salem, Va. and something sparked a comment by Tritt.
The Quincy/Hannibal area has been fortunate to have some great concerts over the years. But, I can't really say that we have an ideal place to see a show. Even with some of the great artists that have played here, I can think of major drawbacks to just about each location.
