Quakes

We're only days into 2024 and already strange geological things are happening in and near Missouri. This is one of them. A mini-swarm of earthquakes were reported overnight near Bull Shoals Lake.

I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't seeing the same thing that happened over the weekend. There's been another earthquake between Mark Twain Lake and Moberly, Missouri centered near the town of Madison.

Consider this a gentle reminder that we live in a very seismically-active part of America. So far in March, there have been over 40 measurable earthquakes on the New Madrid Fault and that's OK.
