LaGrange

This quiet little trail is one of Missouri's most underrated places, but few know about it.

I drive up and down Highway 61 in Missouri nearly every single day of my life. I recently saw a large nest near LaGrange and looked at my wife who saw it, too. It wasn't squirrels up in that tree either.

There are very few places you'll see more types of birds in Missouri than Wakonda State Park, but do you know the exact number? According to data shared by local birding societies, there are currently 225 different species that have been identified inside the park.

The City of LaGrange will host another July 4th celebration. LaGrange Appreciation Day will feature a free concert with Confederate Railroad and Black Top South.

It happens every year around the 4th of July. American Flags are placed on properties along several Quincy city streets. One such street that I drive on often is South 24th Street. If you have driven along that street in the past few days you undoubtedly have noticed the flags...
