Super Bowl Halftime Needs to go Country
The Weeknd is performing this years Super Bowl Halftime show, here are the 3 County Artists the NFL needs to have headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The NFL has announced this years Super Bowl Halftime show performer as The Weekend, don't get me wrong when I heard it was The Weeknd I wasn't disappointed, he has a ton of great hit songs and is a legit performer, and will definitely have a tone of amazing guests with him during the show. BUT the last time there was a Country Music Star headline the biggest show on television was 2003 when Shania Twain was the headliner (the Bucs beat the Raiders in that game btw). It is about time that the NFL goes back to country music for a headliner and there are 3 obvious choices in my opinion.
1.) Luke Combs
2.) Carrie Underwood
3.) Luke Bryan
Ok so there really is no nee for me to explain Luke Combs, the man is the hottest musician on the planet! By the time next years super bowl comes he could be well into the double digits with number one hits, it would be a great beer drinking, rocking halftime show. The Carrie Underwood is a no brainer, she would be able to carry the weight of the show and already has ties to the NFL family with Sunday Night Football, also she would have some amazing guests with her. Finally Luke Bryan is one of the biggest musicians on the planet selling out stadiums left and right, very well known to other Americans who aren't country music listeners, and would have some amazing guests artists to perform with him.
Which country artists would you like to see headline the Super Bowl Halftime show?
