Summer is just around the corner and the largest waterpark in Illinois is set to open.

Raging Waters Waterpark in Yorkville Illinois is opening for the season on June 1st. I've never been to this waterpark, but it looks massive with 32 waterslides, a 1/4 mile lazy river, a giant wave pool, and 3 gigantic kiddie areas, Illinois' Largest waterpark sits on 58 acres just 45 minutes away from Chicago.

You do have to plan a few days to visit this waterpark there is just so much to do, but you can find me just floating in the lazy river. My kids would be all about the slides and I would be all about the lazy river.

There seems to be something for everyone. The thrill seekers, the ones who want to just relax, something for the young kids, and some slides that are fun but not too scary (those would be for me). So, as you look to find something to do, might want to visit Raging Waves, I know I will be chatting with the hubby to see if you can finally make it this year.

Again, just find me at the lazy river working on my tan while the kids run around and get worn out so they go to bed early. It's a parent master plan indeed.
