Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire Sunday at a Quincy youth center.

Quincy fire and police responded to a fire at the Jefferson Youth Center near 4th and Cedar Sunday.

Crews arrived to find a fence on fire that was attached to the center.

The blaze was extinguished before it spread to the house, but there was some damage to the siding.

A preliminary investigation indicates evidence the fire was set on purpose.

There was no one at the center at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
