Quincy Parks Announces Spring and Summer Events and Activities
This cold weather has us all longing for the warmth of spring, and the unbearable heat of summer which will inevitably make us long for the unbearable cold of winter. It's a vicious, vicious cycle. But since I've got you here and we're talking about summer, might as well dive into the Quincy Parks District's Spring & Summer Events and Activities brochure, which was just released!
Some of the highlights of the 2018 schedule include when the batting cages, mini-golf and other activities open up for the season, which is April 6th, the free family movies in the park through out the summer, and of course all the Youth and Adult league summer sports offered by the Parks District.
They've even added some new activities. A fall youth soccer league, a Teen Music Video Night, and Sand Volleyball leagues for both kids and adults. Separately, as adults playing kids in volley ball would be wildly unfair.
For more information on these programs and more, you can see the brochure linked above, or visit the Quincy Parks website here for full details and registration forms.
