Quincy Men Charged with Sexual Abuse in Separate Cases
A four-month investigation results in the arrest of a Quincy man on sexual assault charges.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office had received complaints about 40 year old Bruce Gilker, Jr., alleging sexual abuse.
Following the investigation, Gilker was taken into custody just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Gilker has been charged with three counts each of predatory criminal sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a child.
Gilker is in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond.
A Quincy man is in the Adams County Jail on multiple sexual assault charges.
Quincy Police report that, in July, officers and DCFS investigators looked into allegations of sexual abuse against a Quincy juvenile.
A subsequent investigation resulted in the location of a second victim.
As a result, police and agents with the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force arrested 27 year old Tylar Richmiller for criminal sexual assault and multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault.
Bond for Richmiller is set at $450,000. His next court appearance is set for August 16th.
