Quincy Medical Group Terminates 30 Employees

The latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic is about 30 now-former employees of Quincy Medical Group.

In a statement issued Thursday, QMG CEO Carol Brockmiller said they had made what they called a prudent business decision to terminate the employment of about 30 employees.

Brockmiller said that adjustments that were made as the result of the pandemic resulted in staff stepping to assume new duties, eliminating some positions.

Quincy Medical Group has about 1,100 employees.
