Quincy Humane Society Gets Ready for Annual Event

Grab your dogs (and your superhero costumes) and plan to attend the 23rd annual Mutt Strut on Saturday, September 30th at Wavering Park in Quincy.

The Mutt Strutt in one of the many fundraisers hosted by the Quincy Humane Society each year to support the shelter. This year's Mutt Strutt theme is Heroes and Hounds. Those planning to attend are encouraged to dress their four-legged friends in superhero costumes or other fun outfits.

There will be vendors on hand as well as a silent auction and basket raffle. There will be plenty of activities for pooches as well as humans including a kids zone, a one-mile walk, and a kids fun run (ages 4-11).

My dogs (and kids) love this event and it's great to see so many people come out with their dogs. This is a great way to support the Quincy Humane Society who work tirelessly to help every animal in Quincy find a forever home.
