The Quincy City Council approved spending a little over three million dollars for three infrastructure projects Monday night.

The council approved an $815,000 bid from D and L Excavating of Liberty for reconstruction of North 16th Street from Locust to Seminary Road.

Laveridiere Construction of Macomb submitted a bid of $1.4 million dollars for reconstruction of Jersey from 4th to 5th.

And, Rees Construction gets about $900,000 for improvements on Maine Street between 24th and 30th.

Work on the projects could begin as soon as late April.
