I don't believe in accidents. You can't convince me that it's pure luck that two Missouri teens fell through ice in a place where firefighters were training nearby, but that's exactly what happened.

Yahoo News shared the amazing story of two St. Louis teens who fell through the ice in a lake. Maryland Heights Fire Protection District had firefighters training in that exact area for ice rescue drills. Talk about putting what you've just learned to the test.

The training was happening on a Creve Coeur lake where they were within earshot of the two teens in distress. Simply amazing. While they issued a warning for everyone else to stay off of what is now thin ice in many places, what timing that these two teens would fall in by rescuers.

Call it a crazy coincidence if you want, but I believe that someone was watching out for them. Matter of fact, I have no doubt and I'm guessing these teens might now agree.
