When it comes to state attractions, the Show-Me State has several to choose from, but there is one that stands out the most of all, and it is not the Gateway Arch.

Love Exploring says that Silver Dollar City in Branson is the place to visit when you are thinking of places to explore.

Perfect or overrated?

I would say...perfect. It's nice to see that the Arch (which is an amazing attraction) and the St. Louis Zoo (equally amazing to visit) do not make this list. There are so many other grand places to visit and Silver Dollar City is perfect for the job—thrills and views all in one at Silver Dollar City.

Missouri is known for its caves and caverns, and Silver Dollar City is no different, sitting on top of one of the state’s deepest caves. There’s also an artisan village with more than 100 resident craftspeople on site.

I must admit I've never been to Silver Dollar City, but to be fair when we visited Branson a few years ago the girls weren't all enough of the rides, now that they are we will be making visiting Silver Dollar City a priority to visit.
