It's been eight long years since we last had a new album from Sugarland. The duo went on hiatus to pursue solo efforts, and as the years wore on, we were left wondering if they would ever reunite. Then they got together to present at November's CMA awards and teased a reunion, before officially announcing it mere hours later. Since then we've been treated to a handful of songs off their upcoming comeback album, Bigger, due out next Friday, June 8th. But if you just can't wait another week, you can listen to the whole thing right now, thanks to NPR.

After a quick listen, my first impression is that I love it. I've long been a fan of Sugarland, so I've been eagerly anticipating this. It feels comfortably familiar, like they haven't missed a beat since they went on hiatus, while at the same time newer, and more mature. The way they work so artfully together is nothing short of fascinating, and I can't wait to add this album to my collection. Make sure you give Bigger a listen over at NPR.
