Well, the Pike County Chamber is at it again.

Just in time for Lent, which begins March 2, the chamber is inviting you to the first Pike County Catfish Trail.

All the details haven't been posted yet, but we can tell you that there are apparently 16 different establishments (consisting of restaurants, diners, bars and convenience stores) that are particularly proud of the way they serve up that singularly midwestern delicacy.

You will recall there were only 11 places on the Tenderloin Trail. They're all back, with five new entries.

The eateries that will be part of the Catfish Trail include, alphabetically: Atlas Cafe; Bainbridge Cafe and Barry Cafe in Barry, CJ's Cafe, Milton; Copperhead Bar, New Canton; Courtyard Cafe & Bakery, Pittsfield; Fat Boys, Pike Station: Nucci's Bar & Restaurant, Pittsfield; Pearl Fuel Mart; PH Fast Stop, Pleasant Hill; Riverbank Bar & Grill, Florence; Rumors Have It, Griggsville; Stagecoach Inn, Pleasant Hill; Teddy's Bar & Grill, Griggsville; The Hook, Kinderhook and Wattsup Cafe, Nebo.

You can find out full details as they are announced on the Pike County Chamber Facebook Page.

Happy fishing.
