Even with my admittedly feeble understanding of geography, I'm pretty sure this isn't accurate. The fastest-growing brand in Missouri is reportedly a steakhouse from Florida. How is that even possible?

I have so many questions for the internet. First of all, see for yourself who 24/7 Wall St says is the fastest growing brand in Missouri. They have favorites for all the states, but all I care about is Missouri. It's a peculiar choice although they do have a lot of relatively new Missouri locations. It's a steakhouse...from Florida. Longhorn Steakhouse.

I have no qualms about how good Longhorn Steakhouse is. The only curious thing for me is they originated from Florida (according to Wikipedia) yet they have allegedly conquered Missouri? Shouldn't the fastest-growing Missouri brand BE from Missouri or am I just being difficult? It's probably that second part.

Now, let me take the other side of this argument and make a case for Longhorn Steakhouse. Wikipedia says the following staggering fact: "LongHorn Steakhouse generated more than $2.5 billion in sales in its 563 locations". Wow. That is a heck of a lot of steak and even more dollars made making and selling steaks.

According to the official Longhorn Steakhouse website, there are now 15 locations in Missouri.

The runner-ups for fastest-growing Missouri brand were "Scooter’s Coffee, Panera Bread, Once Upon a Child" according to 24/7 Wall St. I'm probably just being petty insisting on a brand actually being FROM Missouri to be the fastest-growing Missouri brand. Perhaps I should just shut up and eat steak like everyone else is apparently doing.
