This boat tour in Missouri is extremely unique, and not for the faint of heart, which is why it was named one of the 10 best boat tours in the US this year. Here are the details you need to know to take a ride on this must-do attraction in the Show-Me State!

Newsweek just released a list of the top 10 Best Boat Tours in the US this year and the list includes things you'd expect like a tour of the Statue of Liberty, a Crusie through Chicago, and a trip down the Riverwalk in San Antonio, BUT the list also included a tour called the Bonne Terre Mine tour in Bonne Terre Missouri!

The Bonne Terre Mine tour landed at number 9 on the list, and it is very different from the other tours on the list because it is a tour of an underground mine. In the article, they say "Take a guided tour to explore the depths of Bonne Terre Mine, a working mine from 1862–1963. Descend 200 feet below ground to see remnants of the abandoned mine and learn about mining life. You'll also board a pontoon boat to glide across Billion Gallon Lake, the largest subterranean lake in the world!" How wild is that!
