I'll start by saying that I hope they're successful. There's a legendary taco place that has been a favorite in Texas for decades that has now specifically said they'd love to come to Missouri and they'd like to do it right now.

I saw this tasty news shared today by Nation's Restaurant News. It's not about a new restaurant opening in Missouri, but a franchise that wants to ASAP. Have you ever heard of Taco Cabana? They describe themselves as Mexican fast casual and they've been making Texans happy for around 45 years. What does this have to do with Missouri? Here's what the Nation's Restaurant News story said:

"Taco Cabana is now seeking experienced and qualified franchisees for multi-unit opportunities in new markets including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee"

Their leadership says they are a franchise that was created by franchisees made for other franchisees. Taco Cabana got their start way back in 1978 in Texas and they believe that Missouri is a prime location for their immediate growth.

Here's a YouTube short showing what their menu looks like. If you consider yourself a margarita connoisseur, you'll be pleased.

The Taco Cabana site shows they operate 150 restaurants in Texas and they want to add Missouri to their map if you think you could make them a Show Me State success.
