There's a historic Missouri hotel that dates back to just after the Civil War which has connections to some of the most famous personalities in the state such as Jesse and Frank James, Harry Truman among others. Current visitors will also tell you that it is full of paranormal encounters that have many believing former residents never left.

I had one of our audience members (thanks, Lora) reach out and let me know about the Commercial Hotel in Osceola, Missouri. It was built around 1868 after a previous hotel at the location was destroyed during the Civil War. There have been stories over the years of shadow figures, voices heard where no human is and unexplained footsteps. The current owners have fully embraced this paranormal reputation.
