- four DUI arrests
- 272 commercial motor vehicles were inspected

What is the point of a multi-state crackdown like the one just completed across Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky?
The stated goal of Operation United Front was to enforce commercial driving codes, to look for drivers under the influence and get them off of the road and to ensure passenger safety. The hope is that it will encourage compliance which is especially important prior to the Memorial Day weekend which is one of the busiest and most dangerous travel weekends of the year.
