I have become a big softie for nostalgia. Age will do that to you. Do you miss the era when Radioshack stores were in nearly all Missouri cities? Now you can relive that time by checking out 8 decades of Radioshack catalogs.

I grew up in Hannibal, Missouri (notice that I did not say I matured) and vividly remember the Radioshack that was near the top of the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center. Now, what used to be the Radioshack location is an empty lot.

If remembering the old Missouri Radioshack that used to be near you makes you misty-eyed, check out a website called Radioshack Catalogs. It's...WONDERFUL.

There's also a YouTube channel called Radioshack Catalogs and it has tons of old catalogs in video form that you can pause and peer back into the time machine to see what technology was all about decades ago. Thinking of you, Tandy 386 computer.

Now we live in an era where you can hold a device that is infinitely more powerful than even the most powerful PC's in the 80's or 90's in the palm of your hand (spoiler alert - it's your phone). Back in those days, computers were big, bulky and beige and had huge floppy drives and it was WONDERFUL. (Believe it or not)

I'm glad there are websites and video channels keeping the memories of those times alive. If I find a DeLorean, I'm getting that bad boy up to 88 mph and going back to when that was era was new.
