It's been unseasonably warm in both Missouri and Illinois so far this Fall. If you're enjoying the heat, better soak up as much as you can as the temperatures are about to nosedive soon.

Merriam-Webster (the dictionary people) say the definition of "nosedive" is the following:

a sudden extreme drop

That's exactly what the temperatures in Missouri are about to do according to the National Weather Service. "Unseasonably" warm all the way through Friday and then...well this.

The Weather Channel agrees and mentions that Hannibal, Missouri can expect the high on Saturday and Sunday to only be in the 50's. By Monday, that HIGH will only be in the 40's. Yikes. Time to make friends with your furnace.

Their 10-day forecast as of this writing doesn't have the high in Missouri returning to above 60 between now and November 7. Does this mean Fall will really start feeling like Fall before winter gets here? Could be. All I know is that if you're a warm weather person like me, enjoy the next 3 days. It may be the last you see of 60 degrees until next Spring.
