I've been in Kansas City, Missouri so much in my lifetime I feel like I've lived there, but I haven't. That's why I'm gonna rely on the help of robots to determine what the best neighborhood in that area is. Artificial intelligence picked a very low-key one that seems to be the favorite of many.

I saw this interesting countdown from Kyle Talbot - Moving to Kansas City on YouTube. I believe from his description that Kyle and his team help people who are relocating to KC. Not that long ago, he decided to ask artificial intelligence what the best neighborhoods in Kansas City are. The results were interesting.

The number one neighborhood in the Kansas City area according to the robots is Brookside.

Visit KC has some interesting background on Brookside noting the "low-key vibe" and the many homes in the neighborhood that were built in the 1920's. It's such a throwback that it even has a "five and dime" store.

But wait, it gets better. City-Data says that Brookside has absolutely zero violent crime. Is that even possible in the Kansas City area? Apparently it is.

I tend to be suspicious of artificial intelligence, but I will admit this choice seems spot on. There's a lot to do in Brookside. It looks safe and the old Kansas City vibe is strong there. Perhaps the robots aren't out to get us after all. Or are they?
