It's like stepping into a time capsule and traveling back to the mid-1990's when every weekend was defined by the quality of movies you found to rent at the video store. There's a new exploration of an Illinois place seemingly frozen in time that is still filled with 1000's of VHS tapes.

She does not divulge the location, but I recognized the aerial view that she showed at the beginning of her video as the former video store/flea market in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois. I am amazed that the movies inside continue to survive considering how much water comes into that building from storms every year. You would think that nature would completely reclaim it, but that hasn't happened yet. I'm also baffled that collectors are not allowed to save some of the valuable VHS tapes that are still inside. As you can see from her new exploration, there are still a ton of very popular flicks that many would love to have if only for nostalgia.
