
Investigation Continues Into Death of Canton Girl
An investigation is underway into the death of a Canton teenager over the weekend.

Authorities say the body of 14 year old Carolyn Gaus was found in her home Saturday.
Lewis County Coroner Larry Arnold says an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Canton Police Chief Ryan Crandell said charges in the case are pending.
Meanwhile, Canton R-5 Superintendent Jesse Uhlmeyer says the school district will set up a Crisis Intervention Team to help with the needs of students, parents and school personnel.
Gaus was an eighth grader at Canton Middle School.
A Shelbina man is killed while mowing on private property east of Lakenan in Shelby County at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Highway Patrol reports 87 year old Donnie King was operating a zero turn mower when it slid down the bank of a pond and overturned, pinning King under the mower.
King was pronounced dead at the scene.
