North of Mattoon and south of Champaign sits Aikman Wildlife Adventure (just west of Arcola) with loads of animals that you would normally see at a zoo. With a cool twist, you can choose how you interact with the animals.

You can ride on a pulled, covered wagon, or go off road on a UTV adventure with a guide. You can choose to drive through the grounds to see over 100 animals, you can also walk through an area to get closer access to smaller animals, birds and the petting zoo. You could also go behind the scenes for a chance to meet and feed the animals (!!!).
