Illinois State Fair announces Superstar Country Headliners

The Illinois State Fair has announced their first 6 headliners for this year's grandstand entertainment and it is LOADED with Country Music Superstars!

According to a post from the Illinois State Fair's Facebook page, country music fans can expect to see some incredible shows at the 2022 Illinois State Fair. To see the post for yourself click here, but the post which went up today (3/1/22) shows that Sam Hunt, Brooks & Dunn, and Jon Pardi are three of the first 6 acts they have lined up to headline the fair.

Sam Hunt is on Friday, August 12th with a special guest yet to be determined, Brooks & Dunn headline on Sunday, August 14th with a special guest yet to be announced, and Jon Pardi headlines on Thursday, August 18th with Lainey Wilson. Tickets for these shows will go on sale on March 11th and you can find out more information or buy tickets at illinoisstatefair.info.

The announcement also comes with some headliners that aren't in the country music world, the grandstand lineup includes TCL & Shaggy on August 17th, Disturbed on August 20th, and then Sammy Hagar & The Circle on August 21st.

I love to see that the Illinois State Fair is stepping up big with big-name country music artists. There are still plenty of days to be filled at the Illinois State Fair, I personally would love to see them add another classic country music artist to the lineup and then also one more current artist someone like a Morgan Wallen, or a Kelsea Ballerini.
