Why is Illinois raked so low on this list for "Best States to Visit this Fall'? It makes no sense to me, don't you think Fall is the best season in the Land of Lincoln?

I usually try not to get too worked up about lists like "Best States to Visit this Fall" because if you are creating a list like this you are going to have to rank some states at the bottom, BUT I really think this website got it wrong with putting Illinois near the bottom of their list.

The website is called lawnstarter.com and the list of "Best States to Visit this Fall" ranks Illinois at a pathetic 39th place on this list right behind North Dakota of all places... Now they say in the article that they have a way of ranking the states...

"15 fall factors, such as the number of national and state parks, trails, corn mazes, and wineries. We even considered the projected number of weeks each state will produce fall foliage for your postcard-perfect snaps."

Their own ranking system doesn't make sense! If you consider corn mazes, Illinois has to be near the top of that list for not only amount of corn mazes but quality, like this place Richardson Farm in northern Illinois that is home to the "World's Largest Most Interactive Corn Maze" or if you are talking about perfect post card snaps well Chicago alone should rank Illinois wayyyy ahead of a state like North Dakota! Seriously what is there in North Dakota that could possibly be more picture perfect than the Chicago Skyline during the fall? Where do you think Illinois belongs on this list?
