Exploring the Canyons and Waterfalls

This park is famous for its dramatic rock formations, including 18 canyons and numerous beautiful waterfalls. It’s one of the most visited parks in the state, stretching across 13 miles of scenic trails. Hikers love the rocky gorges, wildflower-filled meadows, and the overall wonder that is Starved Rock State Park.

I haven’t had the chance to experience this park for myself just yet, but everyone I know who has visited says it’s truly one of those places you have to see to believe. And even though nature and I don’t always get along, I think I could put that aside to explore what Love Exploring calls one of the most unbelievable places in the entire country.
