Hannibal Regional Healthcare System Wins Healthgrade Award
Congratulations are in order for the staff at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System for their recent accolades from Healthgrade, and being recognized as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention. It's their second year in a row winning the award, and HRHS is the only hospital in Missouri to achieve the five-star rating two years in a row.
According to a press release from Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, "A five-star rating indicates a hospital’s clinical outcomes are statistically and significantly better than expected when treating the condition or performing the procedure being evaluated."
Evan Marks of Healthgrades said “Those hospitals that have achieved the Healthgrades 100 Best Coronary Intervention distinction have demonstrated a commitment to exceptional quality of care.”
In addition to the five-star rating as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention, Hannibal Regional Healthcare System was also awarded the Healthgrades 2017 Joint Replacement Excellence Award, and received a five-star rating for pacemaker procedures
