Officials with Hannibal-LaGrange University announced Tuesday their decision to cancel their annual Booster Banquet.

They cite the exponential growth of COVID cases in Marion County as the reason for the cancellation.

The 2020 banquet was to have been November 20th and was to have featured former HLGU Presidents Dr. Larry Lewis, Dr. Paul Brown and Dr. Woodrow Burt.

The school’s Office of Institutional Advancement will be contacting ticket holders in the next few days to discuss their options.
