Ghost tours, Halloween decorations, and fall fun are taking place this month in Hannibal. October 24 the Living Dead Windows returns. Downtown Hannibal businesses will decorate and create a Halloween window display that comes to life. It’s all in conjunction with the Hannibal Jaycees Halloween Parade that night. The parade will proceed down North Main and start around 6:15 - 6:30 pm. The street will reopen once the parade is over.

You can walk and interact with the live scenes throughout the downtown area, and trust me they are not too scary, I even like the windows displays. New this year, there will not be any street closures, this will allow all downtown businesses to operate as normal with customers and curbside pickup.

These businesses get pretty creative with their windows, some have themes, some just dress up, and others go all out to impress people walking by. There is no cost to attend the Living Dead Windows event, and you can follow them on Facebook to get more updates as we get closer to the event.
