The Everybody Wins Mega Raffle got off to a rousing start with the announcement this morning of the winner of the Super Early Bird Drawing on Y101 Radio.

With 4,000 tickets sold, the winner was Jack Marth. This year's first winner will remember this day as Marth won $25 thousand cash, plus he will be graduating from Quincy Notre Dame High School tonight as well. The drawing was conducted by the accounting firm of Schreacke & Associates, PC of Quincy.

If you didn't win this drawing there will be 41 more chances to win prizes totaling over $169-thousand in all in the Everybody Wins Mega Raffle. The overall grand prize winner will win $100-thousand cash on June 12th during the finale at the St. Francis Picnic. The 2nd place winner will get a $20-thousand cash prize and 3rd place will win a $10, 000 cash prize that night.

Meanwhile, if you own a Everybody Wins Mega Raffle ticket be listening to Y101 Radio this Friday May 21 as well as Friday, May 28, and Friday, June 4 at 8:10 each day to see if you are the big winner of the six early-bird drawings to win $500 cash. There will be two $500 winners on those days with the winning announcements coming at 8:10 on the Y101 Radio morning show.

This year's lure of being a Super Early Bird drawing winner of $25,000 was a contributing factor in all 4,000 tickets being sold within days. This is the 10th year for the very successful Everybody Wins Mega Raffle fund-raiser with all proceeds benefitting Catholic education.  If you would like more information, go to quincymegaraffle.org .

Again, congratulations to Jack Marth of Quincy, the winner of $25,000 cash. Now that's a nice graduation give he just gave himself.
