Great American Dog Show in Illinois This Weekend

The Great American Dog Show 2024 is this weekend (November 22-24) at the Renaissance Schaumberg Convention Center.

This is the second year for this specific event as it moves from McCormick Place.

The event is especially geared at families with many family friendly activities and will allow guests to approach and meet the over one thousand dogs that will be in attendance.

Organizers with the International Kennel Club of Chicago say there will be the traditional dog show events that you love, but they will also have dock diving, a puppy specific show new this year, and even a grooming show and exhibit.

At the show you can get tips from trainers, vets and breeders. There will be demonstrations on obedience, tricks and more. A kids zone will be featured with a kids only dog ring. Plus many vendors with all the newest stuff for your furry family member. Over 200 breeds of dogs await at this years Great American Dog Show. Word is cats have been invited for this year too....(???)
