[Updated] A winter storm that’s blanketed the Plains and Midwest has forced the postponement of the Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent concert scheduled for Friday night in Bowling Green.

Watson lives in Texas, and was stranded Thursday awaiting a flight out of Dallas.
The concert, sponsored by the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and the Turnbull family of Curryville, was to have been held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Bowling Green High School Auditorium.

The concert will now be re-scheduled for the spring. A date has not been set. Tickets that have already been purchased will be honored. Refunds are available.
