Hannibal's Saints Avenue Steakhouse and Buffet will spread some joy on Easter Sunday by handing out drive-thru Easter baskets. The restaurant is closed during this quarantine, but the staff is busy assembling 500 baskets filled with candy and toys, plus a coupon for free kid's meals when the restaurant is able to reopen.

The Easter basket drive-thru event is in honor of William F. Shaw.  “He always wanted all children to have the same kind of love he did as a child,” said his daughter Barb O’Brien.

The event runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 12.  Families can enter the parking lot off the main entrance on McMasters Avenue and follow the bunny trail to the front of the business.  The baskets will be delivered to your car door, following all recommended safety guidelines.
