
Four Arrested in Separate Pike County IL Incidents
A Roodhouse, Illinois is jailed on drug related charges in Pike County, Illinois.
Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood reports deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 106 east of Detroit about 1:10 a.m. Friday.
An investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Dakota Matthews of Roodhouse for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a weapon.
Matthews is in the Pike County Jail.
The execution of a search warrant resulted in the arrest of a Griggsville man Friday night.
Pike County deputies served the warrant at a residence in rural Griggsville about 8:20 p.m. Friday.
The resulting investigation led to the arrest of 59 year old Douglas Reese of Griggsville, charged with unlawful possession of meth, unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes and unlawful possession of firearms by a felon.
Reese is in the Pike County Jail.
Two Texans are arrested on drug charges as the result of a traffic stop on Interstate 72 near the Barry exit just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
Taken into custody by Pike County deputies were 43 year old Christy Bass of Amarillo and 45 year old Barry Washington of Hart, Texas, initially arrested for active warrants from McLean County, Illinois. New charges filed against the two include unlawful possession of meth, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes.
Bass and Washington are in the Pike County Jail.
