Festival of Lights to Light Up Moorman Park This Holiday Season
The Christmas displays are getting set up once again for another year of the Festival of Light in Moorman Park.
Another season of magic and beauty can be discovered at this year's Festival of Lights. Workers and volunteers have started setting up the massive light display that takes over Moorman park which will open on Thanksgiving night and run through New Year's Day. Every year the display adds something new to keep the magic of the lights growing each year, and this year it looks like we make see more trees in the park decorated with lights.
If you would like to make a donation to the Festival of Lights or sponsor a display to reach out to the organization on Facebook for more information.
Once again, we will be teaming up with State Farm Agent - Derek Zahm, to help collect toys for the upcoming toys for Tots/Salvation Army Toy Drive. Make plans to come through the Festival of Lights on December 7, donate a brand-new unwrapped toy and get money off your entry into the light display. We have done this for the past three years and have collected so many toys for the kiddos in Adams County.
Stay up t date on everything Festival of Lights on their Facebook page, and if you can please make a donation so we can continue this fun, family Quincy Tradition.
