Ever Wondered What’s Inside the Jesse Hall Dome at Mizzou?
Students and Faculty of the University of Missouri know what the outside of the Jesse Hall Dome looks like, but have you ever wondered what the inside looks like?
Every college/university has that one building that shines above the rest, and for the University of Missouri, that building is the Jesse Hall. Above that building sits an amazing dome structure that used to be open but has been closed for years, until now. permission has been granted for visitors to see what it's like inside the dome, and for some, it could be a trip back in time to find their name forever grained in the wood in the dome. with Homecoming coming up they will reopen the dome for all to visit and see what it looks like. Well, here's a sneak peek at what you will be able to see when you visit the dome on campus.
There are actually four levels of the dome which seems to be covered in names of maybe former students and faculty of Mizzou. The dome sits at 102-feet which I am sure provides one of the best views of the entire campus that is a must-see for any student and alumni.
Jesse Hall is now home to various university departments such as Admissions, Financial Aid, and University Affairs. There's so much history in this dome with names from 1969 to 2015. Has anyone written their name in the dome? I have always loved walking on the campus when I went to visit my sister, it's one of the most beautiful campuses I have ever seen (besides Northwest Missouri State University GO BEARCATS).
