Entries are being sought for the 6th Annual Veteran's Parade which will be held in Quincy on Saturday November 9. The parade, after a 35 year absence, started up again in 2008 and has been going strong ever since thanks to the Co-Chairmen Dick McKinney and Jim Ponsot. This year's parade will be held from 12th to 5th on Maine Street and will begin at 10 a.m. with the lineup beginning at 9 a.m. from 12th to 24th Streets on Maine Street.

There is still time to signup to have an entry in this year's parade and there is no entry fee, however donations are gladly accepted. The main purpose of the parade is to honor our local veterans.  Last year over 90 entries were a part of the parade and they hope to have 100 entries this year.

If you would like to be a part of this year's Veteran's Parade call 228-9759 or 430-2912.
