An Aldi’s in Humboldt Park in the Chicago Area had a unique situation unfold with a wild animal getting into the store and hiding, in the deli cooler.

The coyote knew that it had hit the jackpot for hiding places/new home as it wasn’t going to be removed easily.

A couple of officers were tasked with evicting the predator, and it was a bit more than just shooing it out. Don’t believe that was the initial thought? Check the officer who doesn’t have the coyote by the tail, who’s holding onto a broom.

They didn’t just remove the coyote. They captured it and took it to the Flint Creek Wildlife Rehab. Depending on how the coyote checks out health wise, it could be released back into the wild.
