The Illinois State Fair is not wasting any time announcing its headliners for the 2025 season.

Announced yesterday, 80s rock band Def Leppard will take the Grandstand Stage on August 16, 2025. Tickets for that show go on sale this Saturday (November 16th).

If that wasn't excitement enough, the Illinois State Fair just announced their first country artist to take the stage.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 16 as well for her night at the fair on  Aug. 10 at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand.

Megan Moroney is an American country music singer and songwriter from  Georgia. Known for her songs "Am I Okay?", and her big hit back in 2022 "Tennessee Orange".

Usually, we have to wait until April or May before we get announcements of who is performing at state fairs, but the Illinois State Fair is coming our swinging. In the past few years, they have brought some big names in music including Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Motley Crew, and more.

The fair is just getting started in naming grandstand artists. Can't wait to see who's next!
