Coors goes Organic
Coors is releasing a "Pure, Organic Light Beer" it will be in stores soon!
Beer is good, I like beer. I like all kinds of beer, from IPAs, local craft beer, light beer, German bier, and of course Miller Lite. I'm no beer snob, and I love to try new things from brands that I already enjoy, Coors and Coors Light are two of my all time favorite beers to drink, so when I saw that they are releasing a beer that is organic, well you know I'm going to try it!
According to the parent company of Coors, Molson Coors, they have announced Coors Pure, their 1st organic beer in the US and it is going to be available come March. On their website they say...
"Molson Coors Beverage Company is set to release its first USDA-certified organic beer next month when Coors Pure hits shelves in the United States. Made with organic hops, organic barley and water, Coors Pure is a sessionable, above-premium beer that meets consumers’ desire for better-for-you products...Coors Pure, which checks in at 3.8% alcohol by volume, is a light lager with a subtle malt sweetness along with low bitterness and a slight citrus hop notes. With a light and effervescent mouthfeel, it finishes clean and crisp with low aftertaste."

This is not shocking at all to me that the organic market is hitting the beer world, we as a culture are becoming more and more aware of what goes into our foods and drinks, and what we are putting into our bodies. And for it to be in the Coors brand as opposed to a completely new beer I think is smart by the company because Coors is such a huge name in the beer world. Will you try it?
