Last year, Sam and I took our act on the road to the airport to pour drinks for the Arts Quincy fundraiser. Apparently, we were good enough to warrant a callback for another fundraising celebrity pour, this time for the Adams County Suicide Prevention Coalition.

We aren't the only ones bringing our mixology skills to the Harrison HyVee Market Grille Express on September 8th. We're bringing a bunch of friends along with us to make drinks all for this great cause. Swing by, order a drink (preferably not TOO complicated) from Brodie, Sam, KHQA's Dave Amelotti, former mayor David Nuessen, and Quincy First Responders Mike Dade and John Simon. All tips will go to the Adams County Suicide Prevention Coalition.

I know how to pour beer to keep the foam-to-beer ratio low, because who wants a glass that's like 90% foam. I'm also pretty handy with a shaker, so I could do a good cocktail, even martinis if you like them like Bond does. But if you start getting fancy with your Manhattans or Old Fashioneds or anything where I have to muddle something, you might be waiting a while for your drink.

It's gonna be like Cocktail, but with less Beach Boys music.
