Breakthrough Artist of the Week: October Rose

Each Friday at 9:30am, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy.

October Rose originated as two solo artists, Derek Allen and Leanne Weiss, meeting to collaborate on a few songwriting projects. But the two hit it off creatively, and what started as a small project became the vocal duo October Rose. Rising to prominence in New York City's country music scene, they've performed alongside Russell Dickerson, Drew Baldridge and Sara Evans, and have been hard at work on their debut EP, All In, set to be released early this year, featuring the single "Heartbreak Song."
