Each Friday at 9:30am, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy.

New Mexican Justin Kemp and his Justin Kemp Band keep their country real, following the path of good Texas country. There's a great old school tinge to his tunes. It's been a good, hard travelled road to the stage for him, starting off playing parties and bars, before touring around New Mexico and West Texas, but he and his family have been able to turn the Justin Kemp Band into a real force to be reckoned with the release of their debut album, My 2 Cents earlier this year.
