Breakthrough Artist of the Week – Ashley McBryde

Ashley McBryde comes to us by way of Arkansas, and has been touring relentlessly with her blues-rock tinged brand of country. She's got a voice that contradicts itself, simultaneously being sweet and soothing, but with the edge of experience that cuts right through you. Her storytelling style of writing matches her voice perfectly, coming from places both of joy and of pain. Every note, every melody, every lyric just overfills with talent.
