The best part, it's just a short drive North for us here in the Tri-States. Montrose Dog Beach was the number "top dog" when it comes to giving your best friend the best vacation spot. My family and I have been to this beach and it's so hilarious to watch all of the dogs just have fun, run around, and play in the water. It's where we decided we wanted to get a Frenchie for our next dog.

Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Montrose Dog Beach in Chicago is a sandy, four-acre haven for pups. The park is fenced on three sides, and dogs can roam off-leash from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Amenities include a hose-down area and free waste bags.

We didn't even have our dogs with us and we loved going to the beach and watching all of the dogs just live their best lives. The Montrose Dog Ownership Group's (who maintains the beach) mission is to make sure that all canines and visitors have a fun clean place have fun on the beach.
