Experts have claimed that they once again have found the best diner in the Land of Lincoln. While I admire their results, I am always a little biased when it comes to the best of the best in an entire state.

These experts may have it right, they picked an award-winning diner known for bringing a sping on globally inspired foods. So, if you find yourself in Chicago anytime soon it seems the experts over at Love Food say that the Little Goat Diner is the best in Illinois. Not to be confused with Billy Goat (not a diner but a great Chicago hot spot), the Little Goat Diner is more of an upscale dining experience.

Yes, they have the red booths and nostalgia a diner would have, but they go above and beyond with their food. They seem to take all of their food from burgers, salads, and soups and turn it up with their spin on simple items. For example, you can get a burger, but why not try their Little Goat Rueben? Or if you want something healthier, try one of their many salads like the Ribeye salad. You can always have breakfast with their all-day breakfast menu.

And just as yummy as those sounds they also carry a dessert menu that will make you want to eat your dessert first. From looking at their website it seems that Little Goat Diner is a very busy place and you have to make a reservation. So, if you do find yourself in Chicago anytime soon check this place out it does look like it's one of the best in the nation.
